In addition to maintaining our ongoing partnerships, a new agreement was signed with the UNHCR (United Nations Refugee Agency) on April 2, 2019.
By signing this agreement with UNHCR, the delegated Ministry to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Moroccan Family Planning Association, the Foundation Noufissa Pharma 5 commits to:
This initiative is in support of the National Immigration and Asylum Policy, initiated following the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in September 2013, and aims to promote access for refugees and migrants to health care and facilitate their socio-professional integration in Morocco.
The Foundation Noufissa Pharma 5 shares the noble mission of providing vulnerable populations, including refugees, with solutions to meet their health needs. To do this, the Foundation undertook to donate medicines for the benefit of refugees and other vulnerable people in Morocco, worth one million Moroccan Dirhams over three years and to facilitate the access of refugees to economic integration.
The right to health being a fundamental right, the Foundation Noufissa Pharma 5, through its actions, pays particular attention to refugees and their health. Each of them must be able to benefit from access to quality health care without any discrimination. Through this quadripartite agreement, the Foundation is committed to facilitating access to healthcare and to participating in the improvement of their living conditions.
